Space is an integrated team environment that allows developers to collaborate with tools such as instant communication, software development, and team and project management. The integration of JetBrains Space has also been added to the new version. rbs support features in RubyMine include code highlighting and actions like Go to Statement, Find Uses, and Rename refactoring.
RBS provides a way to write the definition of a class or module: methods defined in the class, instance variables and their types, and inheritance / mix-in relationships. RBS was added in Ruby 3 and provides a language to describe the structure of Ruby programs. Support for RBS means code completion will be improved for Ruby’s standard library and for user code with RBS definitions. Code Insight is a coding assist feature that offers smart code completion, code navigation, language-specific inspections with quick fixes, smart notifications, and quick documentation in the editor. rbs files in its Code Insight functionality. RBS support means RubyMine 2021.1 will use. The latest release is part of the JetBrains 2021.1 release series, and improvements start with RBS support and better code completion. The IDE also supports JavaScript and CoffeeScript, ERB and HAML, CSS, Sass and Less with code preview and refactorings. The IDE includes a debugger with a graphical user interface for Ruby, JavaScript, and CoffeeScript, and an advanced graphical user interface-based test runner. RubyMine is a cross-platform Ruby and Rails IDE that provides code editing assistance and tools for developing web applications with Ruby on Rails. Other improvements include the integration of space and the inclusion of Code With Me. RubyMine 2021.1 has been released with improvements, including support for Ruby 3.0 RBS and better code completion.
